The “eu4owl” network initiative offers a service focused on EU research funding for universities in the region.

In the “Centre for Music, Edition and Media” joint project, Paderborn University, the University of Music Detmold and OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts are looking at the changes and new possibilities brought about by the transition from analogue to digital music and media.

The Alberta-OWL cooperation project We CAN virtuOWL is developing digital, collaborative teaching and learning formats, enabling international exchange for students and teachers from home, and creating a community of interested university members from OWL who are testing innovative, international forms of teaching and exchange. With this project, four universities from OWL are expanding their cooperation with four universities from Edmonton (Alberta, Canada), which has so far focused on the exchange of students and interns as well as on research. The DAAD and the BMBF are funding the project through the IVAC program with 213,000 euros.
